| Igneous Magma Posts: 324 | Hi. My internet name is Katie. I have been searching for a great website to replace another website where I used to post. The other website was initially a lot of fun but has recently been taken over by flamers. I enjoy open-minded debate and will confess when my mind has been changed and am looking for similar people. |

Football players are tackled by refs and seperated by teammates if a fight breaks out, but you just go at it, is the sport not physical enough?) “Only two things are infinite, the universe and human stupidity, and I'm not sure about the former.” -Albert Einstein |

| Sedimentary Rock Posts: 3 | Hello, I am Mino. I joined this because the forum that I also debate in is getting more and more lax with people's posting junk on their forum. I like this forum so far, but I have only participated with one other post so far. I am open-minded, and I question everything from ethics to incest. ~Mino |

| Sedimentary Rock Location: The Burg, Kentucky Posts: 7 | I am a fifteen-year-old male from Kentucky. I enjoy literature, philosophy, math, art, and music. I am really into punk rock, political rock/rap, ska, techno, electronica, country, R&B, metal, screamo, emo, jazz, and reggaeton. You could say I'm pretty open-minded when it comes to music, as I'll listen to many genres. I am into independent films. I can watch the indy film channel for hours and be satisfied. I am very into photography. I have interests in being a professional photographer one day, but I don't really know how to go about doing that. Anyone who can help me/give me info on it would be wonderful. I hope this website will further develop my debating skills, as well as give me insight to new outlooks and opinions. Demosthenes |

Religious in a few different ways that take too long to explain, most--but not all--of them heretical. Frustrated with the distance between what is discussed in the major media and what is discussed in the bright, if diffused light of the Internet by people from all over the political spectrum. I have been attempting to found my own website dedicated to debate. I have not investigated this site yet, but I am thrilled to find it. Real debate. It--or the lack of it--is the meta-issue of our time. Last edited by omniadeo; Aug 27, 2007 at 03:48 am. Reason: grrammar |

| Igneous Magma Location: Austin, Texas Posts: 201 | Hello folks, my name is Alan, and I'm a radical dude with a radical 'tude from the ATX (that's Austin, Texas for all you Newbs out there). I'm nineteen years old, and I currently do work in the fascinating and ever changing world of commercial roofing (calm yourselves, I know the excitement may simply be too much for your fragile nerves). I am very passionate about learning and truth. While I am generally ignorant of everything ever, I'm always willing to learn, which is, I think, the more important thing. Accordingly, I am very passionate about science; in fact I hope to study the Earth sciences one day. I happened to stumble across this site today and I, always being excited at the prospect of learning something new, couldn't resist signing up. Looking forward to some--hopefully--stimulating discussion! |

| Sedimentary Rock Posts: 24 | Hi everyone, I'm Gerry (female) old enough to remember WW2 in Holland, which is NOT in Scandinavia btw :-) . Have been in the U.S. for 43 years, most of it in the N.E.. CT,NY and 25 years in NJ. I landed in FL 5 years ago. I'm still trying to determine whether that was a mistake. Different country here. I have always been active in politics. My former husband was an elected local official in NJ. My Dutch background has made me rather socialistic (for those who assume that is the same as communism just let me know and I'll explain the difference.) It's a far better system for the population AND it is my opinion that Government's sole purpose is to represent its people and do whatever is in THEIR best interest, NOT Corporate America. Needless to say I have quite a problem with the current Administration. I hold very strong opinions against War by virtue of my youth. Here in the U.S. I am considered an off-the-chart-progressive liberal, while in Holland I am considered conservative. So it all depends what your starting point is. I have two children, both raised in NJ. One studied in Holland and now speaks Dutch as a second. language. I look forward to exchange ideas with you all and hopefully we will all learn. Ciao |
