I will join as long as I can belong to two groups.
I already stated that I would join the sites Libertarian Group also.
As long as there is no conflict with site operators, I will join both.

Sure, I'm in.

Yea, no problem joining two groups. They are just places to chat about things that you think the entire group might not debate respectfully about, or as a casual place to chat with people with similar beliefs.
So it goes

There are ten of us who wish to form a group.
In his reply to my inquiry, the Administrator, Sean, said this:I would be willing to use another title, but my issue IS 9/11 and the tyrannical direction that subsequent events have proceeded. I think Nono wanted a focussed group, too. You others, please weigh in on a name for the group...Just make sure you are satisfied with the name. Long-term I am not sure it will serve your purpose, but it is your group's call. Someting like Alternative Views or something a little more broad might help. Let me know what you guys decide on.
Some would like to discuss conspiracy generally, but I think that 9/11 was a turning point, and deserves it's own group. I don't really appreciate fringe topics like reptilian aliens and UFOs that may come under the heading of "alternatives." I don't mind discussion of controversial topics, just think that they may divert from an important look at where gov tyranny is taking us and the willingness of elites to eliminate their own countrymen for an agenda.
I could go for something like 9/11 And Tyranny, hehe.

Hey, like I said, go with what you guys want. Just keep in mind that it should be clear and long-term (the name). Keep it serious too-as it will influence who wants to join :)
So it goes

You may want to disregard this comment because I am not interested in joining the group.
Titling it "Alternative Views" would probably be a mistake. Everyone thinks they have alternative views. As a new member, I would join a group called "alternative views" and then find out that it was all about 9/11. Alternatively, leaving the group so wide open might exclude those of us who don't want to talk about 9/11 conspiracy from other topics we would like to be involved in.
Something like "9/11 and tyranny" would probably be best, so the rest of us don't miss anything, and the noobs know what it's all about.

Brave New World or New World Order, perhaps? I'd choose the first one, because most know that it, the book, is a critical look at the NWO, while the second doesn't give a position. Both focus on issues such as 9/11 and government manipulation without bringing in bits like the Holy Grail and further oddball stuff. Not that I'm oppossed to discussing that, but it does give the forum leader oppurtunity to keep it out.

If you guys want me out of this thread just say so.
But I don't think you should call it "Brave new World" because then people would join with the expectation to discuss the themes of said book.
Just call it what it is. You want to discuss 9/11. Call it that. Why do you shy away from calling exactly what it is?

I think the group would be served better by a more generic name. I found that with names like "butterface, flame-fest, boiler-room, etc" that people often did not understand what you were using a specific space for.Quote by: G. Adams
Why not call it "Alternative Perspectives" or something more descriptive like that? Let me know when you guys figure it out.
So it goes

Why not just "9/11 Committee"?

Wait a sec, is the purpose to discuss the origins of 911 or its aftermath? Obviously the two are intimately related whether you embrace the Official Line or agree with gr8 and PH. Still, I feel that the key to understanding the aftermath is understanding the origins. That is where I would prefer to focus the discussion.Quote by: Pat
