I don't really do pictures of me, I'm an ugly Anglo-Saxon. Here's one from nine months or so ago after the birth of my son:

I have plenty of pictures of other people. Here's one of my father-in-law while we were fishing one morning last week. It could have been me and you wouldn't have been able to tell the difference

With the blurry feel to the photo looks like a caught high on camera pic to me. Better yet the crash afterwards

The guitar itself was $429 retail, but that comes with a soft cover gig bag. I decided not to get the bag, so it knocked the price down to $380 I think. But I ended up having to buy the amplifier, a hard shell case, strap, picks, a cable, and a tuner too.

Its a Mexican made Strat, not the American ones, hence the major price difference (American Standards start at $999 and go up to $5,000+). It doesn't match the quality of the high dollar American Strats, but its still a pretty damn good guitar.

That doesn't make anybody a wannabe. I've never wanted to take up the guitar, perhaps the drums, but not the guitar.

The "haha, told ya" wasn't in reference to the whole wannabe thing, I just didn't know what else to say. *shrug*

Seriously, its over. lol

Nothing wrong with a mexican strat, inherently. Modern amps can get you any tone you want. What amp did you chose?

The Line 6 Spider III 15. It doesn't appear to have a wide variety of tonal possibilities. Or maybe I just haven't found out how to get them yet. It seems really great for distortion, but that's it. I can't seem to get a real good fat, clean, bluesy sound out of it. But I like distortion, so its all good. I wanted something with built-in effects, and that's what the guy recommended for $100 or less.

That's pretty cool. My ampli --- oh wait, I forgot, I don't have one. I should really get off my ass and take up an instrument.
