Nah, just googled her name. My reasoning was that nobody in the news business -- especially nobody flogging their product to the Italian public -- would miss the chance of publishing her photo along with any story. Sure as hell, up popped a text with her deceptively delightful countenance..

I'd've copied and uploaded just the photo itself (I tried) except that I'm not as computer-clever as the rest of you guys. If anyone would care to explain how it's done I'll give it a try.

Right click on the photo and copy image url? Or at least it is if you're using Firefox and not the puny IE6.

Damn, it worked! But I had to go into "Properties" and copy the URL there.

Yeah, you can see a bit of the Duce in her features, eh? I'd certainly rather be harangued by her than her granddad.

Oh sure, she's a member of the European parliament for what's politely referred to in the media as her "far-right party". Of course, brown shirts and goose-stepping aren't part of the official programmes of the Italian and German neo-fascist parties with electoral ambitions these days -- they've gone up-market.
But the political viewpoint is basically the same, and she carefully straddles the fence (as it were) :) in all public references to her notorious ancestor.

I think nono is being a little kind here. She is, without a shadow of a doubt, the most right wing and fascist of politicians within the European parliament. However saying that, even she was appalled at the comments of a UKIP member who suggested that women should stay at home and clean behind the fridge.
