    Languages

    What non-English languages do Volconvonites speak? Is English a foreign language to you? Fess up!

    I am currently (and regrettably) unilingual. However, it is my hope that I'll be fluent in French, Dutch, Spanish, and perhaps Norwegian/Swedish/Danish at some point in my life.

    A man said to the universe:
    "Sir, I exist!"
    "However," replied the universe,
    "The fact has not created in me
    A sense of obligation."

    C#, M, Java, VB, C++...

    More fluent in some than others.

    I tend to find the study of foreign language unnecessary. The more universalized one language becomes the better... any impediment to human communication is an enemy of progress.

    Serious as a heart attack...

    ...and twice as deadly.

    I suppose you have to know the show...the major is not quite right in the head. It is completely in character for him to assume the absurd is fact. Sorry...didn't mean to confuse the issue. I just tend to think in these type of associations. I speak English and only English. But I "...speak it well. I learned it from a book!"

    ok, but the main subject is who speaks what non-english language in here and not who is not quite right in the head... unless I got that wrong, my apologies.

    No, you didn't get it wrong. Apparently, you just don't appreciate my humor. I'll have to just trudge along, knowing you will probably never be a fan of my comedy act. On topic, my answer is...I only speak English. :)

    I'm unilingual (English), but "taking steps" (baby steps, or rolling over to extend the baby analogy) to learn Japanese. French and German could be long-term goals. I already know some basic German from having been raised in a partially Amish environment, Pennsylvania Dutch being the first language of everyone on my father's side of the family.

    For a void without a question is just perverse.
