Simple concept to this.

Pick someone who was never elected President or Prime minister and say how you think under their leadership the world/your country would be different now.

Heres mine.

John Smith (Labour Party leader) - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

John Smith was leader of the Labour party before Tony Blair. If he had been elected as opposed to Blair in 1997 things that I feel would have happened would include the stopping of the selling off of the British Rail system, The increase in the wage gap would be lower, and the UK would be in a much better position to reverse the failed ideology of Thatcherism. More people would be employed in the former industrial heartlands than under Blair or Brown, and the crash of 2008 would not have hit the UK so hard if Smith was PM. My opinion anyways.

Chip in if you all like. Any time period, just make it realistic, such as the losing side of the opposition, or someone who just lost a presidential nomination.
