"Worldview" I have found is the new catch phrase of the religious Right. I had an argument with another columnist where she provided the site that claims there are only 7 (was it 7? I think so) worldviews. Odd. The same claim skews all those worldviews into leading the reader to favor Fundie Christianity. And to claim only so many? Vast over generalization.....
The bad men that took over the German Republic a few decades ago had an expression called "Weltenshaunskrieg" meaning worldview warfare. They felt that in order to mold the country according to their will, they had to break down the belief systems of the citizenry. The same tactics are being utilized in the (former) American Republic.

Among many ways, in the way that people do not believe the essential document of the Republic is not law.

First of that is an assumption and second it has nothing to do with the definition of a republic. Here it is for your benefit.

    Definition of REPUBLIC

1 a (1) : a government having a chief of state who is not a monarch and who in modern times is usually a president (2) : a political unit (as a nation) having such a form of government
b (1) : a government in which supreme power resides in a body of citizens entitled to vote and is exercised by elected officers and representatives responsible to them and governing according to law
    (2) : a political unit (as a nation) having such a form of government
c : a usually specified republican government of a political unit <the French Fourth Republic>
2: a body of persons freely engaged in a specified activity <the republic of letters>
3: a constituent political and territorial unit of the former nations of Czechoslovakia, the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics, or Yugoslavia

    Even supposing that sounds irrational.

    Grandpa h.
That was my argument. It was a columnist from the hometown paper where I partially grew up. As I mentioned: all skewed towards Fundamental Christianity being the only sane religion. But even just 7? Very irrational.

The Family, which Hillary hung around a bit when she was a Senator, is of this mindset. But while Hillary seemed to be doing it to gain points and influence, Palin is the real deal: a Fundamentalist. I suspect she would support the 7 worldview concept from what I have read of her attending faith healings and anti-Science outlook. Doesn't talk that much about it it seems.

How many of the signers of the Constitution argued that this language meant that a woman should hold the office of President of the United States?
Now that's silly. It's like asking how many argued toilets should be included in the Constitution to make the point the founders only wanted us to have outhouses.

The subject/context/intent of the sentence is the crucial matter, not whether "he" or "she" was used. Again: if this is what they wanted they would have spelled that out: specifically. Not resorted to just "he" or "him."

Palin is no fundamentalist. Palin is a self-avowed feminist and is a part of an outwardly feminist group. She actually preaches against fundamentalists and calls us "neandrethals" and promotes anti-God feminists like Elizabeth Cady Stanton and Susan B Anthony. She allies herself with Geraldine Ferraro and praises Hillary Clinton. The primary differences between Palin and Clinton is that Palin has the appearance of a woman, and Palin is outwardly opposed to abortion.

They had no intention of women voting much less holding office. The constitution was amended to allow women to vote. Yet, I would challenge someone to show me where the Constitution was amended to allow for a woman president.

Sigh....another victim of the Palin spin. Self avowed SP says a lot of goofy shit because she doesn't know the meaning of most three syllable words, feminist being one of them. Her attempt to redefine feminism is another trick in her arsenal of attention seeking. She wishes she could hold a candle to the accomplishments of Susan B. Anthony, Elizabeth Cady Stanton, Geraldine Ferraro or Hillary Clinton. Feminist don't buy her nonsense. Probably because they don't get an erection when a vapid female, wanna be in designer clothes and sexy shoes with a flag lapel pin winks at them.

You got one thing right...SP's outwardly opposed to abortion. Feminist are pro-choice.

Sarah Palin is a member of a group called "Feminists for Life". Perhaps she is not a pure feminist in your definition but she believes herself to be a feminist. Whatever she is, she is not a fundamentalist Christian.
