How much time does Volconvo takes you aways from your work?

I primarily use volconvo when I am at work and I assume most of the older volconvo members do also. So the question is how much time does volconvo take you away from work?

10 mins, 1 hr, 2 hr, 4 hr, etc.

Have a good weekend

I try to stay away from it during the week. Certainly not at work.

Just how many dollars an hour do you make while posting at Volconvo?

My McJob of the moment involves getting coated in weird chemicals and waving sticks in the air from 9 to 5, so there is no time for Volconvo to get in the way. I might spend about two hours at most per day on here these days which is a bit much but its time I can afford to waste.

I think it goes without saying the any suggestion to invade Canada is mind-numbingly stupid.

I open up the browser and keep Volvonvo on the screen all day and everytime I walk by the computer, I make a post or two. Porbably no more than an hour if add up all the time I spend here per day.

My method is similar to Jinei's. My main email client, my work email and Volconvo sit on tabs in Firefox all day long on my laptop. Every time I'm at my desk and frequently as I pass it I check in. No productive time is lost to the forum.

I check in at lunch, but the majority of my posting is evening and/or mornings prior to going to work.

I don't actually have a job, so it doesn't take away any time from my work.

But I could list a variety of infinetely more important things that I could, should, and would be doing were I not the laziest human being alive.
  1. Getting a job.
  2. Taking over the world.
  3. Getting my driver's permit.
  4. Taking over the world.
  5. Doing my summer homework.
  6. Taking over the world.
  7. Learning how to play the drums.
  8. Taking over the world.
  9. Getting exercise.
  10. Taking over the world.

Interesting, I pegged you as much older. Guess you are more knowledgable beyond your years.

Note: I usually try to avoid debating the youngins, since they tend not to keep up with current event (sh1t I didn't know a damn thing go on in the world at that age) and tend to be hopelessly liberal, due to lack of experience.

Hmm, I hear the term liberal thrown around so much here that I no longer have a clear understanding of what people call liberal. I certainly am all for gay marriage, but asside from that I no longer know what makes a person a liberal.

I just tend to take everything one at a time without giving myself a label, because if I were to deem myself liberal I would get get all the negative things that go along with that as well as the positive.

Well I don't have a job, but I do some work at home. This site hasn't taken a lot of my time yet. Now that I remember about it, I'll be on more.

Forums distract me from coding a lot of things though. :(

Side question. By your signature I assume you well "play for the other team." Is it possible that there are any gay Republicans? I mean the Republican party is stricken with a phobia of gay marriage. One of my beefs with the Republicans, but are gays able to get past it and actually vote for the Republicans?

Granted I know most gays vote Democratic. I am asking if any say 10% of the gays would vote Republican? What if the Republicans did an about face and supported gay marriage, would that make a difference?

As much as I consider it bizarre, like gay Christians, there are indeed many gay Republicans. Andrew Sullivan might be the best known but there are plenty more here, Log Cabin Republicans - Home
