I saw the other morning Hardee's has installed automated ordering machines similar to what you would use at the movie theater or in airports.

Canada geese on Hamilton Bay last March.

In flight.

(And I'm sorry but I'm tired of wasting time selecting "website" size on Photobucket and clicking to "replace original" and the the whole damn tralala only to find this size back again. To hell with it.)

Oh right, for years my blasted computer wasn't even capable of using Bucket and so I had to get Scribbler to kindly put them on his private site. Now that my new computer does tolerate Bucket, people start telling me how uncool it is after all and I need to go elsewhere.

There's no end to it. To hell with it.

Aww...don't be that way. It's just one man's opinion. Please continue to post your pics using what ever way that works for you. (or put them on FB so's I can see em)

I think PB is easier to use than flickr. I must remember to use their slide "thingy" to resize instead of the "small, med, large" options. Small and med are too small for me. What can I say? I'm a geek in training.

Here is the Tennessee state capital.

Here is me waiting to get the oil changed. (description found at the site by clicking on the photo)

I found this kind of interesting. Does anyone know about the Mary Kay regime? I read that it was a stupid Pyramid scheme and only the select few make any real money.

I will copy what I wrote on my blog as well as flickr. I went out to eat tonight and took some cell phone pictures:

This was my dinner tonight. Cracker Barrel never seems to upset. It doesn't look too good in the picture, but we can blame this on lighting and the digital camera on my cell phone didn't have a flash. However, it was very good to eat. I also got one of those Strawberry Icebox pies. That was quite good.

(the following was typed out on my N810 when I finished the meal in Cracker Barrel)

Anyway I shouldn't be judgmental and I realise I can be a dick at times. But I have to mention. There is a power couple that just sat down for dinner. They both weigh in excess of 400lbs so their combined weight is in excess of 800lbs. This made me ponder for a second. I thought to myself I am sure glad that the chairs are made of sturdy wood because they would surely break and buckle under the stress. I know its not nice to make fun of people but this isn't really making fun. This is speaking critically of the obesity problem we are witnessing in the western world. The lifespan of their vehicles' suspension system is undoubtedly shortened by their added weight. Again I know it sounds ugly and mean however these comments are not directed at them as human beings. Just the obese in general. I myself am above ideal human male weight for my height.

What do you do when you are waiting for your meal to come out? Read the BBC of course.

Pardon my outburst. It's just that I kick myself for wasting so much time going round'n'round'round with the thing and still ending up with a photo the size of a barn door.

Again, sorry about stretching things off the edge of the screen. I see that Chris's commentary above runs off the edge now. Must be on account of my pics.

I'm seeing plenty of condensed water vapour there. Surely you must be getting some precipitation out of all that.

Well the corn and greens look fine, and that beer is fetching. But I'm a trifle leery of the meat dish. What on earth is it?

Now there's an intriguing expression. It refers to their weight? As in "a hoggish couple" (Hunter S. Thompson)?

Never thought of that. North American restaurants must throw a lot of fail-safe tensile-strength redundancy into the design of their seating.
Now why didn't the 911 Commission do a comparative study of roadhouse chairs and the Twin Towers?

Have you ever noticed the list to one side of a vehicle habitually driven by a very heavy person while alone?

True. It's not them as individuals. It's rather what they represent.
When I was a kid, our member of parliament was like that. I remember a friend's father laughing when he learned that this guy had been named to a parliamentary commission that would travel extensively to investigate world hunger. "He'll never get back alive," Mr Shurvin told us. "He's bound to get rendered down somewhre along the way."

Here's a little poem I just wrote (well, either me or William Shakespeare):

Well I think it may also depend on your browser. I am using Firefox 3.0 and its fine - the words dont stretch and follow the photos.

Dont worry about it, After a while this thread will become more than one page.

Yes we have been getting lots of rain - which is good cause last year's drought was a killer.

haha, I wish I was beer but - Cracker Barrel is a wholesome place where loads of Evangelical Christians like to eat (well they like to eat everywhere here as this is the bible belt) so the beverage is Iced Tea with NO sugar :)

Yes - Thats what I meant. I find that when you do see huge big people most of the times, only one is super massively huge and the other is merely big, say 300 lbs instead of 500. These people were obviously married to eachother and BOTH were gigantic.

haha Yeah their chairs are made of sturdy wood I feared we could have had a traumatic, painful and embarrassing scene, with the possibility of injury. I have been in restaurants where the chairs felt wobbly. Now I only weigh 208 lbs and it was giving me some trouble. The flimsy chairs must have been victims of obese persons. Other places use Cast Iron welded chairs or "booths" - which are large pieces of furniture healthy enough to support many people, so an obese person would only sit one to a booth.

Yes I have seen that before. Didnt have my camera out at the time though (drat! )

Yeah I saw those in McDonalds in 2002. Guess it makes sense to help with the queues. Wish Panera would have them. (Or the other Lunch rush places that look like the NY Stock exchange)

That would be an improvement at Jack in the Box, where they also have those kiosks. In their favor, they also offer free wifi.
