At the risk of being called unoriginal, my nomination has to be Led Zeppelin. I've truly not listened to a song of theirs that I haven't enjoyed, and between the breadth and depth of their selection theres something for everyone. They also use symbolism and turn many of their songs into true art, not just entertainment. I'll post other runners up in the future. “Only two things are infinite, the universe and human stupidity, and I'm not sure about the former.” -Albert Einstein |

I do enjoy some fleetwood mac songs, but I've never really listened to em other than what comes up on the radio. “Only two things are infinite, the universe and human stupidity, and I'm not sure about the former.” -Albert Einstein |

The have classes devoted entirely to the beatles in university music programs. What a piece of work is man! How noble in reason! The paragon of animals! And yet, to me, what is this quintessence of dust? Man delights not me; no, nor woman neither.. |

| Igneous Magma Posts: 165 | I gotta go with The Who. Great song writing, belting lyrics from Daltrey, and a powerful bass presence by the Ox. Not too mention that Townshend is a top, if not the best, rhythm guitarist to grace rock n roll. Who needs a lead guitarist when you have Moon on the drums? | Altruism Assassin Location: Massachusetts Posts: 4,795 | Too weird for me, but I do like a good chunk of their songs. Speaking of weird, a runner up for me is Pink Floyd, for total originality almost to a fault. “Only two things are infinite, the universe and human stupidity, and I'm not sure about the former.” -Albert Einstein |
