You haven't seen weird until you've seen robotic musical mollusk love.

Destroying America one Volconvo post at a time.

Religious controversies are always productive of more acrimony and irreconcilable hatreds than those which spring from any other cause.

Weezer

Rivers Cuomo from weezer records himself talkin trash and modifies his voice in a funny way:
Webisode #0, Bridge Lyrics. This is actually kind of interesting. Step #5 he uses a fisheye lens and it's pretty funny.

UPDATE: Oh... look in the related videos. Rivers takes user suggestions to write a song. Holy shit... this is cool! The related responses to Cuomos videos is where viewers are submitting their song ideas. Rivers mentions lyrics ats5 wrote. He can't sing, but they were great lyrics. Someone name pgrizzle wrote a chord progression, and Slorrin makes a nice vocal arrangement for it (Fast forward to 48seconds). So bleedOrange is refining and throws out awesome ideas for endings and guitar riffs to what has been made so far.

I've seen "submit your video" things before. Shit, even Applebees does it now. But this is quite different: No corporate run media juggernaut creating blog entries, cross promotional tie-ins for cellphones, or asking me to sign up for anything... this is amazing. Finally, A "celebrity" that VLOGS like everyone else. The amatuers gave great input into this song... The internet changed just now, did you feel it?

That you may retain your self-respect, it is better to displease the people by doing what you know is right, than to temporarily please them by doing what you know is wrong.

I thought this was pretty funny.
Man auctions off his life, sale price disappoints - Yahoo! News

Quote:
A man who put his life up for auction on eBay found it wasn't worth quite as much as he thought when he settled for around A$100,000 ($96,000) less than his target price.

Ian Usher, 44, held the seven-day auction of all his belongings, including his three-bedroom home in the west Australian city of Perth and a trial for his job at a rug store, after the break-up of his five-year marriage

In the end, the winning bidder agreed to pay A$399,300 ($380,286) for all of Usher's worldly goods, which also include his friends, a motorcycle and a jetski. According to the eBay website, the mystery buyer, whose user name is "mslmcc," is in Australia and has a 100 percent feedback score.

Usher, who gave regular updates on the auction on his Web site Alife4sale.com - Ian Usher is selling his life: car, bike, jetski... as well as his house and everything inside. Buy it and he will walk away with only the clothes on his back, now plans to travel in search of a new life.

He's not the first person to put his life on the block.

American John Freyer started All My Life For Sale (www.allmylifeforsale.com) in 2001 and sold everything he owned on eBay, later visiting the people who bought his things.

Adam Burtle, a 20-year-old U.S. university student, offered his soul for sale on eBay in 2001, with bidding hitting $400 before eBay called it off, saying there had to be something tangible to sell. Burtle later admitted he was a bored geek.
I love that last little bit, admitted he was a bored geek!

Holy WTF?

First, the Barbie Doll and Tanner Scooper Dog Set: Why does the dog have it’s own poop in the bowl, and a juicy turd in his mouth?

Second, Wee Wee Boy Doll:

It's not a real product, but check out the commercial to see little Dirk Diggler in action.

Poison Mic check one two!

I was surprised that Tom Green can rap. The second half of the video is even better. I don't know what else to say. I'm amazed.

Baby Mop

Inventors in Japan are fed up with babies constantly making messes and never cleaning up after themselves. Introducing the baby mop:

This leverages the all natural cleaning power of drool to buff your floors to a high shine. Please note that extended wear on carpet may build a static charge equivalent to licking a car battery.
