Finals Suck!

Especially when its for Law School. The whole class is decided by one grade, the final, that's it. So you spend countless hours reviewing stuff over and over again until you head blow. For finals I am using 7 days of vacation and sick time at work. That BLOWS! I had Bulls tickets for tonight and I had to turn them down. Have to miss my buddy's Christmas party. Its a great time. Why the hell is he having it on the 16th?

Back to my initial thought Final Suck!

Ugh, I'm not having to deal with anything nearly as bad as law school, but I'm still getting my ass kicked with finals right now. Aside from Christmas being a stressful holiday, they've gotta add something as stressful as finals on top of it. Damn, and it freaks me out that things will only get worse from here.

My worst, most feared final this semester was P-Chem, and the prof showed up 20 minutes late and made us stop 15 minutes early. Said he had somewhere to be. If I fail because of that, I'm going to the dean.

I have 6 Finals over the next 2 weeks. 2 long term papers (One on the effects of Antisocial Personality Disorder and Primary Psychopathy on Unreported Crime that I'm about 8 pages into so far). I have a belt test for Judo on Thursday. All of this was interspersed with preparing for and taking my LSAT's this past Saturday.

I concur. Finals suck but they also blow... hard!

LSAT's? Hope you took the prep courses such as from Kaplan. Trust they help big time. Not too scare you, but you only really get one shot. Yep you can take it a second or third time, but law schools take the average of your scores. So you have to do really really well to get your second go around, if you did poor your first attempt. If you haven't taken any prep course I would advise putting off the LSAT until you do. Trust they will add value points to your score.

Your law school sounds stressful.

Most of my classes are final only, but the profs aren't out to get you or anything. Plus my school doesn't have class rank so we all share notes and outlines and study together.

I have 4 finals this semester and I'm not stressed at all.

Kinda late in the game to be talking about that seeing as I just took it LAST Saturday, December 1st, lol. I didn't take any prep classes but I did read a few books and took a pretest, did countless other random questions in preparation, etc. I got a 155 on my pretest and if I do that well on the real thing when I finally get my scores back I'll be happy.

i had to take the CFA exam as a final - and it also determined whether/not i would graduate... i definitely know the pain of heavily weighted finals.

hope for america...

Just one more to go on Monday!

Finals suck! Had to stay in all weekend studying. Can't wait until this one is over. After the final I'm going straight to the bar to watch the Bears woop the Vikings!

Back to the point - FINALS SUCK!

Again, I think it's your law school that sucks, no offense... I have two more finals (monday and tuesday) and I feel completely prepared for them just from what has gone on in class. My studying consists mainly of organizing my notes and consulting with my peers regarding the jibe we plan to take during the test.

EWWWWWWWWWWW!

Having got that off my chest, the one thing I like about finals is it panders to my intellectual arrogance/laziness. Not so much work for the entire semester and get it over in one chunk.

That also applies to the professors. I just got done with all of my semester papers/projects and come to find out that 90% of my professors have decided to assign papers instead of actual tests for the finals. So that's like 4-5 more papers I have to finish by like the week before finals.

It's aggravating. I graduate in a few weeks and they keep assigning new assignments like I have time for any of this nonsense.

2 more weeks...

And I only have 2 finals this semester. My other 2 classes are papers. Can anyone say "3L"?

I have been a 3L for a semester. However, since I'm a night student (work full time) I still have a year and a summer left. I have only 1 final, but I have a negotiation and bi!ch of a paper due next week.

Huh... one of my finals is an 8-hour takeout. Pick up in the morning, drop off by COB at the Registrar's office, go wherever you want to take the final.

The other one is a 5 hour open book open notes essay final.

Then I have a document analysis for my IRC s.42 class, and I just turned in a draft complaint and memo for my Environmental Advocacy class.

I have all of my GCSE finals within the next two months, and everybody except my teachers seem to think that I'm unduly relaxed about them. I mean, shit, I'm helping to direct a play during them, and haven't done any revision.

They're not that bad, though I do hope AS/A-levels will be more of a challenge.

When the time comes, that no more can be said, say no more.
