Ban prejudged_Fire because...

I understand the point you are trying to make but that doesn't make it any less a game of random assumptions.
The debate is just a method to find the truth and the truth is that Rock Band is not a game played by wannabes.
The company that made Rock Band did not gear it towards wannabes they were following the example set by Guitar Hero.

Your point was that I can't disprove your assumption.
Again, it doesn't matter it was geared towards, it matters what the end result is.
The games were merely created because of an obvious growing obsession with music and iPods.

2. *Sigh*.. The end result is a different topic, a different debate. If you're debating on what kind of people play the game, then its relevant. But that's not what we're debating is it?
3. Please explain to me how iPods started the idea for GH? As far as I'm concerned, Harmonix just looked at their Frequency and Amplitude games and thought, "Hey, I bet if we made the controller look like real instruments it would sell like crazy! I mean, I'm sure there are millions of people who want to play real instruments but can't, so they can just play this instead! Its the next best thing!"

For the record, I'm sure its a great game. I never played it because I'd just rather do the real thing, but I'm sure its fun and cool and all, I just think Harmonix had wannabes in mind when they made it.

Well, like you compared Rock Band to Guitar Hero, if Guitar Hero came from those games then those games came from the growing obsession with music.
