This is kinda eurocentric beers at the moment, if you really want one up there just demand it. However, there is no better beer than guinness for clearing your throat after an absinth. Amstel sucks. In fact, the taste of all beers sucks - so in that case, Keystone, the official U.S. party beer, gets the job done. :P |

![]() Fyrdman Location: Middlesbrough UK Posts: 4,174 | Well I said beer, but I really mean lager. REAL beer, ah man that stuff sucks. Its just water and food colourings I swear. Now if we were to open this into drinks other than beers and lager, I would have to say my favourite is two five vodka's and VK Energy. They're only 3.50 each at Bar Frescoes (on a thursday), and two of em sets you up for the night. As well as actually tasting nice. You could pay a fiver and do an 8 vodka and vk energy, but you can't drink a couple of those without regretting it. I'd never drank a beer that gave me a buzz after 5 bottles until I found Alexander Keiths. |

![]() Fyrdman Location: Middlesbrough UK Posts: 4,174 | I assume you mean pints? Whats its %? Have you tried Stella Artois? If your hardened to it its nothing ( i been drinking it since I was 14 now), but for most people they don't have the stomach for that much (were going by my mates Official Drinking Rate, that is one pint per 20 mins). So far I'm onto 11 before having to stop. But the best for knocking you down is Special Brew, i think its about 7%. It doesn't taste great, not like Stella, but still good for a night out.
