    Happy Birthday Switzerland

The 715th, at least according to an early document whose authenticity is disputed.

Anyway, there were something like three separate threads in honour of the 4th of July, so I figure good old Helvetia rates at least one for its national day.

I wish the US had a fully armed and trained militia, like the Swiss.

I was going to get Switzerland a present, but I wasn't sure what was appropriate for the 715th. Cabbage?

Question: Why don't we call people from there Swtiz?

    Dunno. Too difficult to pronounce?

Not too hard. It rhymes with "twitz", what we call people who work in Washington D.C.
