Moussaoui Calls 9/11 Families' Grief 'Disgusting

http://abcnews.go.com/US/story?id=1840833&page=1
Quote:
April 13, 2006 — Zacharis Moussaoui, a convicted al Qaeda conspirator in the 9/11 attacks, told the jury he had no remorse about the attacks and was glad that the victims' family members who testified about their loss suffered pain.

This jury will decide if Moussaoui will face the death penalty. Moussaoui was given the chance to plead for his life today, but instead he unleashed a stream of invective.

"Do you have regret about the families that testified?" lead proscecutor Robert Spencer asked Moussaoui.

"None whatsoever," Moussaoui replied in a monotone. "I find it disgusting that someone will come here to share their grief. … I'm glad they received pain."

His message from the witness stand was simple: hatred of America.

"We want to inflict pain in your country. … wish there will be more pain," he said.

Asked if he wanted to see 9/11 happen again, Moussaoui said he wished it would happen "everyday." Chuckling to himself, Moussaoui testified to prosecutors that Oklahoma City bomber Timothy McVeigh is "the greatest American."

Slams Defense Attorneys

In November 2003, Judge Leone Brinkema ruled that Moussaoui could no longer represent himself. His court-appointed defense lawyers hope to convince jurors that life in prison would be more of a punishment to the al Qaeda member than death, which his defense team argues would reward him with martrydom.

Asked by defense attorney Gerald Zerkin why he hated Americans, Moussaoui said, "It's going to be long." Then in lengthy testimony, he proceeded to read a passage from the Koran bolstering his claim that Muslims should "be the superpower."

Moussaoui also lashed out at his defense lawyers, accusing them of wanting to kill him as well.

While he spouted hateful comments for most of the day, Moussaoui showed his familiarity with American movies while expressing his displeasure with the death penalty: "I don't want to die like 'Silence of the Lambs.'"

Moussaoui's defense team portrayed him as a paranoid schizophrenic who believes there is a conspiracy to kill him. But Moussaoui insisted that he is perfectly sane.

As Moussaoui never had the chance to be a suicide bomber, he appears to be attempting to be a suicide defendant. It is a shame that the US government is spending so much time and money trying to kill someone who is so clearly delusional and who had nothing significant to do with 9/11.

Yeah, he was a nothing, he addmitted to knowing about 911, and was in the loop to fly another aircraft... nothing big.

right.

His own people knew that he was an unreliable nutjob and didn't trust him. What he knew is open to question, but as the FBI had its head up its ass and this bumbler is the best they can do, the Feds throw together a show trial to kill the villiage idiot. Makes me feel so much safer. Sure.

The article doesnt mention if he was wearing the remote controlled electrocution belt when he made these statements. I think I would say whatever I was told to say. Especially if brainwashed for 5 years. Thats a long time to be tortured and programmed. Was it his public defenders idea for him to testify in his own defense?

FBI field agents tried to warn two superiors that terrorists were in the United States taking flight lessons. The field agents testified they issued up to 70 warning to these two superiors. Today those same two superiors are still on the job.

Rice was given a memo that an urgent meeting regarding terrorists is needed. Rice never got around to drawing up this meeting.

Ashcroft took the issue of terrorism off of the to do list.

Bush Jr wanted everyone to watch him hit a golf ball instead of talking about terrorism.

Then boom, 911 happens and Bush Jr goes to war against a nation that has zero to do with 911 and even went so far as to say he isn't even interested in Osama anymore.

The bozos in this administration should be sitting where Moussaoui is sitting.

The man standing in court is dangerous, no doubt. more importantly, there's no denying he is in the loop and willing. But, Rick is right about the situation as a whole.

What creates this sort of person? Was he always this way?

Let's see... Has he been in US custody for the PAST FIVE YEARS?

Yes, as the defendant stated:

Yes, the fellow perpetrated the crime he has been convicted of before he was incarcerated. Even if 5 years of humiliating torture and united statian military sexual depradation had rendered the man a nut, he was already indisposed when he plotted to participate in 911.

Moussaoui's indictment is a mess: http://www.usdoj.gov/ag/moussaouiindictment.htm
I don't see how the allegations about the "dead" hijackers implicate him in any way...

What was his crime, Nunez?

I don't see why they would push for death...

wouldn't that make him a bit of a martyr? IMO a lifetime in an AMERICAN jail would probably be pretty damn bad for a terrorist. But I suppose he wouldnt be in with gen pop at all.

in any case, this whole thing is a little frivolous.

Once again it shows the need of people to place blame or guilt on a sole person, and have him as a figurehead. Doesn't really matter who, as long as they have a guy to blame it on. Makes people feel better I suppose to focus anger on a single, comprehendable person.

Conspiracy to Commit Acts of Terrorism Transcending National Boundaries, Aircraft Piracy, Destroy Aircraft, Use Weapons of Mass Destruction, Murder United States Employees and Destroy Property (an inchaote offense and one of the hardest to prove).

And his overt acts include stuff like possessing knives and flight manuals...Woohoo!

What happens when somebody happens to have a gun, ammo and a computer? They must be terror masterminds, huh?

Conspiracy does not require possession of instrumentalities to prove involvement or participation, do you believe the evidence does not support a conviction as a co-conspirator in this case?

I think Moussaoui was convicted on the strength of the allegations against his alleged co-conspirators.

The current White House staff should get the same death penalty,
for complicity on the same day.

The "Dog that Did Not Bark" is rock solid evidence for a conspiracy. WHICH I SUPPOSE IS PUNISHABLE BY DEATH.
When the SS did not act swiftly to remove bush junior from that classroom, they tipped their hand, they knew he wasnt one of the targets that day. The SS has only one job and the world knew where bush was on 911. His itenerary was known for weeks.

Full reporting of bushs "The photo-op must go on"!! HERE

Quote:

Inspector Gregory: "Is there any other point to which you would wish to draw my attention?"

Holmes: "To the curious incident of the dog in the night-time."

"The dog did nothing in the night time"

"That was the curious incident," remarked Sherlock Holmes.

From "The Adventure of Silver Blaze" by Arthur Conan Doyle
```````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````
<snip>
Three Secret Service agents, a SWAT member, the Marine and Balkwill turned on the television in a nearby front office as United Airlines Flight 175 out of Boston crashed into the south tower.
"We're out of here," the Marine told Balkwill. "Can you get everyone ready?" [Sarasota Herald Tribune]
The Secret Service did nothing. The dog did not bark.
The Secret Service should be in that video, but they are not. It is clear from their inaction that they KNEW FOR A FACT THAT THE PRESIDENT WAS NOT A TARGET OF ONE OF THE HIJACKED PLANES. The intended targets of the planes had to have been known.
The dog did not bark because the criminal was its master.
Quod Erat Demonstradum, the Bush administration was part of the 9-11 plot.
How they rule in the Massaoui case should set the precedent for all conspirators of the 911 events.
Question to all that dont believe official version.
If there so much holes in official version why no one goes to court and proves his point?
