US jurors hear 9/11 cockpit tape

source

In the article "On Tuesday jurors were shown graphic images of people who burned to death in the al-Qaeda attack on the Pentagon.

After those pictures were shown, Moussaoui shouted to the court: "Burn all Pentagon next time."

The defence, which is expected to begin its case on Thursday, is likely to argue Moussaoui is delusional and mentally ill.

The prosecution is hoping that presenting the jury with emotional evidence from the 11 September attacks will convince them to pass the death penalty. "

Surely the death penalty turns a murderer into a martyr ?? Let him rot in jail if he is guilty, or a mental institution if he isn't.

anyone disagree?

No I certainly don't. But executing people makes them feel so good. Surely you're not asking them to forego that pleasure merely on the grounds of good sense?

I find this frustrating. I've never seen people working so hard to give someone who doesn't deserve it exactly what he wants.

Zacarias Moussaoui is a nutty, attention seeking poser, who I doubt actually had anything to do with 9/11... hell, he didn't even know what day it was supposed to take place. Pretty "need to know" for someone who was supposed to fly one of the planes, dontcha think?

But thanks to the prosecution whipping up emotions into a wailing bloodlust of vengeance, Moussaoui gets to go from a screwball nobody, spending the rest of his days rotting in an anonymous cell, to a heroic martyr who courageously spit in America's eye and willingly gave his life in the fight against the Americans. Al-Qaeda, who could barely contain their laughter in disclaiming this goofball only a few years ago, can now turn the tables and flaunt him as a world famous martyr to the cause, who told the Americans, in their own courts, in their own language, to go stuff themselves.

Attaboy, America. No one can say we let common sense get in the way of a good 'ol, torch waving, feel good mob lynching.

Heh. Where's the evidence Moussaoui had ANY ROLE WHATSOEVER in 9/11?

He said so himself, in court. Isn't that enough to kill his ass and end all our pain regarding 9/11?

Yeah, he blurted out a confession that doesn't hold water, even after insisting for months he had nothing to do with it. Anybody else implicate him?

why you wont hear the last 3

minutes of the voice recorder
snip
LetsRoll911.org has discovered that Fight 93 was definitely shot down.

LetsRoll has discovered the name of the pilot as well as all other pertinent information regarding this incident;

"At precisely 0938 hours, an alarm was sounded at Langely Air Force Base, and those whom were on call, drinking coffee, were scrambled. Thus the 119th Fighter Wing was off for an intercept.

They, the Happy Hooligans, a unit of 3 F-16 aircraft, were ordered to head toward Pennsylvania. At 0957 they spotted their target; After confirmation orders were received, A one Major Rick Gibney fired two sidewinder missiles at the aircraft and destroyed it in mid flight at precisely 0958;

which would explain the loss of an engine several kilometers from the crash site

If the people on flight 93 did overpower the terrorists, and the terrorists were actually CIA agents, don't you think they (the military)would have been ordered to blow up the plane to prevent them activating the auto-land function once reaching airport airspace and getting back home safely (assuming they did overpower the terrorists and could get back to an airport being talked in by tower control), to be interrogated, investigated and the terrorists investigated and traced down to the CIA?

Completely false. This is based entirely on an interview by conspiracy radio jock, Alex Jones, with a conspiracy author, Donn de Grand-Pre.

This was covered in depth in a thread last summer, which included the entire transcript of the N.D. Governor's congratulatory speech, the fact that of 4 fighters in Gibney's unit, the North Dakota Air National Guard 119th "Happy Hooligans", 3 were flying CAP over Washington DC, while Major Gibney himself was busy ferrying N.D. emergency officials to New York City.

Jose, if I have to go dredge up the whole damn thread, I will, because this is complete and utter conspiracy bullsh!t.

I think I heard the excerpts from the Flight 93 voice recorder on MSNBC this AM.

I don't have a link so i maybe wrong but wasn´t he in custody before 9/11
and his computer had nick ( headless) bergs Email and password?
a way of communicating without sending Email is to write a message and save it in the draft box, someone else logs on with the same name and password and reads the message and its not picked up as it´s never sent. things that make me go huum

Al Qaeda plotter?

"You are the head of the snake for me. If we want to destroy the Jewish state of Palestine, we have to destroy you first," he told the court. He turned to the Koran for evidence he said backed up his claims that Muslims are called to fight for supremacy for Allah. "We have to be the superpower, we have to be above you," he said.
The man is nuts.
Quote:
He complained they had failed to obtain a trial venue further away from the Pentagon, one of the areas affected by the attacks, or give him a Muslim lawyer. "I wanted to have somebody in court who I trust," he said, speaking calmly and politely.
These are legitimate complaints, ineffective assistance of counsel should be an element of his appeal.
Quote:
Asked by defence lawyer Gerald Zerkin if he thought he was helping his case when he testified earlier that he had planned to pilot a plane into the White House, he replied: "I was putting my trust in God, so from an Islamic point of view, yes."
Islamism in anutshell?
Quote:
The defence clearly wants to portray its reluctant client as paranoid and unstable, says the BBC's Jane Little at the court in Alexandria, Virginia. He also denied he was seeking the death penalty for himself despite papers filed in court which record him as saying that "the greatest jihad in Islam is to speak the truth and be executed for it".
Irrefutable argument, martyrdom does require more than just immolation, you have to die for religious reasons too.

Indeed, this is the sentencing phase in a capital case, Mossassoui could get the death penalty, unless he is criminally insane. Paranoia and instability would be features of the criminally insane. Since he's described his own defence counsel of "criminal non-defense", this can be used in his appeal. Extend his martyrdom, but he cannot plea for his life, this must be done on his behalf.

I am essentially in agreement

The man is an ugly lunatic. Let us not dishonor our culrure by bothering him any more than is necessary. He's not important enought to deserve execution. Incarcerate him, and let him rot.

I agree, but incarcerate him in the David Blaine style. Put him in a big glass box and see how long he lasts.

Oh, I almost forgot. The box will be placed in Times Square, New York City.

With no guards.
