"The most important thing we can do is let families know that the nation cares," said Don Woodrick, the group's Kentucky captain. "When a total stranger gets on a motorcycle in the middle of winter and drives 300 miles to hold a flag, that makes a powerful statement."

I'm a biker - and in my part of the country these incestuous nut jobs would have not just bikers buffering their asinine idiocy from the families but some face to face attitude adjustment..

In my immediate vicinity, other than the clubs - pagans, angles, barbarians, brothers regime, we have rolling thunder, Vietnam vets, the teamster's iron horsemen, abate and I can't forget the crippled old biker bastards.

I think they would be outnumbered.

Bikers have a nasty reputation, particularly in large groups, tend to be associated with drugs, crime, drunken and anarchic behaviour, they often are seen in brawls and disorderly conduct. It would be disturbing for a bunch of bikers to appear unexpectedly at the funeral of someone who never had anything to do with bikers, even if they didn't do anything offensive. Most people, honoring a fallen friend who was not a biker and had nothing to do with motorcycles would probably prefer not to have large crowds of them at his funeral, as some might think the deceased was a biker.

Phelps on the other-hand - thats a different story. I was hoping the church burners from Alabama would travel to the land of 666 and torch his church.
