Your claim is still garbage and doesn't change the fact that the overwhelming majority of Christians not only believe in the theories of Darwin but also of Hutton, Hubble, Einstein and a myriad of other scientists that your "young earth" foolishness must deny. You "young earthers" do not just deny Darwin but the virtually the entire canon of physics, astronomy, geology, and biology - indeed virtually all of science. So play word games all you want, "young earthers" are a minority of literalist luddites.

You assert that your "young earth" literalist lunacy constitutes a majority of Christianity and then demand my sources? Please. Sola scriptura does not require literalism, even if your sect does. Mainstream Christianity has no problem whatsoever reconciling "in the beginning God created the heavens and the earth" with science.

As I suggested before, you "young earthers" have more problems with James Hutton and Charles Lyell than with Charles Darwin. Hutton and Lyell effectively demolished the "young earth" in the mid-eighteenth century. It really only returned like a bad memory in the 1920s. Connecting modern "young earthism" to the 16th century Reformation doctrine is a silly stretch, at best.

Obviously you missed the first 2,856 posts in which the following was posted, so let me repeat, evolution is about how species differentiate and adapt. Scientists may use evolutionary theory to postulate about the origin of life, but the theory itself does not address that. Evolution could care less who or what may have started life going. It applies to living forms, well after their creation.

did you actually read and understand how the creation story occurred in seven days? or did you leave that out. according to the Bible, EVERY species was created in that seven day period.

created ALL SPECIES!!! according to your theory, the only thing that fits is Him creating life. and secondly, if God could create life, He sure as hell could control the evolution of life. so, give up God, or give up natural selection. thirdly, how could evolution occur if all the species in the fossil record exist at one time?

To recap the world is less than 10,000 years old. Everything happened exactly as recorded in the Bible. All we know of geography, astronony and biology is wrong. And water runs up hill.
