And relax, dilli, I'm perfectly cognizant of the difference between a nation state and a specific sector of the human gene pool. Perhaps you would have preferred something more PC such as "a citizenship-related stab"? Anyway, back on topic: I'm not sure "spy" is the happiest of terms. The US probably gets its information directly from the European-stock (sorry, dilli) aristocracy in Venezuela just a-bustin' to overthrow Chavez. I think Chavez is once again giving notice that he knows American knives are out for him. "I wish I was as cocksure of anything as Tom Macaulay is of everything." -- Viscount Melbourne

I pick option A.........no, wait...........option B? Ah, hell...........you decide, 'cause I can't even settle on what to wear in the morning.:) Seriously, though, if someone uses an inappropriate analogy in their argument and another points it out, is that really an attempt to stray from the issue at hand, or simply an effort to point out fallacious logic in that argument? Granted, the disscussion of the fallacy often takes four or five posts, but I would still tend to refute your charge that this in and of itself constitutes an intentional drift from the topic. Second, you did not ask me to clarify my meaning to justify the quoted sentence above, rather you proceeded to make an irrelevant and unanswerable question. I do not make any racist stabs, nor have I in the past. The question had nothing to do to make my meaning clear, you asked it to help Bradley after I inqueried him about his stabs. All in all your first quote has no effect but it is wrong. Quote:

After rereading this, I think you might be under the impression my first post was serious, and not the sarcastic comment it was intended to be. Either way, not only does Nono not get your cryptic reply, but now I think I am unclear about what you are getting at as well. What do you want, an apology?
