Is this somehow part of whatever elaborate deal was worked out between Jack Straw, Pinochet and God-only-knows-whom to declare the old bugger too ill to stand trial in Britain? That too is a good question. "I wish I was as cocksure of anything as Tom Macaulay is of everything." -- Viscount Melbourne |

It's such a shame we don't have upright men like Pinochet running things in The Backyard these days. Instead we have these short, dark troublemakers like Chavez and Morales "destabilizing" the region. Ugh! Now, Pinochet's daughter has the balls of a gorilla to come here and expect the US to protect her from her fellow countrymen who deserve answers to the questions they are entitled to today. She was in her 30's when her father was in power and can surely provide answers about hidden wealth to the tune of 27 million dollars and other questions of state that the Chilean people deserve from that nighmare of human rights abuses. She should be deported as soon as possible. Brien the Iceberg If you tell the truth you don't have to remember anything. M.T. Last edited by brien; Jan 26, 2006 at 05:11 pm. | |

The weird thing was, I found this while reading about Superman (Christopher Reeve). I don't know why Reeve and other actors were supporting his dictatorship, he doesn't sound like a good guy to be associated with. Death to Videodrome! Long live The New flesh! |
