Lawmaker Wants Bush and Cheney Censured

Rep. John Conyers, D-Mich., called Tuesday for Congress to censure President Bush and Vice President Cheney, saying they misled lawmakers on the decision to go to war in Iraq. Conyers, the senior Democrat on the House Judiciary Committee, introduced resolutions creating a panel to investigate the Bush administration's handling of the Iraq war and separate measures censuring Bush and Cheney. Conyers, releasing a staff report on the buildup to war, cited ``substantial evidence the president, the vice president and other high-ranking members of the Bush administration misled Congress and the American people regarding the decision to go to war in Iraq.'' Republican National Committee spokeswoman Ann Marie Hauser said if Conyers ``spent half the time condemning terrorism that he does condemning the President of the United States, he would be a credible voice in the war on terror.''

Amen to that, but with no leadership or plan for America beyond cut and run, Democrats have to hope they can make America lose the war and attempt to start investigations against a war President doing his job.

The Democrats lack proof and the conclusions of the 911 commission was that the President did nothing wrong. So without evidence, outside of politics, what is this?
Politics against America in the War on Terror is going to bite Democrats in the butt every time.
They are weak in so many ways and will again lose seats in 2006 because of their unpatriotic moves.

I loved how some boasted they killed the Patriot Act. Happy they put America in danger and they think that will get them elected? Nope, they are in big trouble.

"The War on Terror". Ya know that phrase has lost its meaning, when we consider that the actual folks losing their freedoms are Americans. It sounded dandy after 9/11, but that was before a useless war in Iraq into which America was misled by bloodthirsty President.

While I despise the Democrats socialist agenda, the crap from the Republicans on deleting my freedoms and calling it legal with an act that was written by Mr. Nobody, gives me a sincere desire to strangle their dishonorable political party.

Kudos to Rep. Conyers for calling for a censure. He won't get it past the Bushbots in Congress.

Conyers is laughable. I find his black caucus to be racist as well.
They are absent proof for their accusations, so this won't go anywhere.

Spying on communications going outside of America with people who could want us dead is a good thing in my book.
