On Wednesday, Iraqi authorities arrested two men carrying 72 bombs, said police Lt. Col. Ahmed Hajoul. He said the pair said they planned to hide the explosives Wednesday night in the largely Shiite city of Hillah to explode when the polls opened.

Righr here should be time for, what the pacifists would call torture, some real down to earth punishment. We should take the two guys and give them two of the bombs they were carrying. One bomb would be disarned and the other live. They would be given the choice to pick one bomb, the dead one or the live one. Thanks GBA

Startribune? A mortar did land in the green zone.Associated Press . I feel sorry that the Iraqis have to go through checkpoints before they can vote. That would never go over in the U.S. I hope nobody allegedly tries to bomb our polls. Homeland Security would frisking you and me at the local church or school where we vote. I really do think things will get better in Iraq, Someday. Not because america is so heroic, but because good people will always overcome tyranny. On their own, eventually. The U.S occupation is the worst tyranny Saddam's former country has ever seen. IMO. The United States as a country is not a tyranny for it's own people, yet. It is a tyranny for those living in Iraq. Hopefully that'll make 'em come together as a country. Hopefully they don't just come together to hate america as a team. Anyway...I hope this works for them and they can forgive us our tresspasses.
