The team say the test has to be refined before being applied on a vast scale.

The chemical found in the urine of cocaine users is called benzoylecgonine, or BE.

It is produced only by metabolising cocaine.

I say:
I agree, they probably cannot source samples AT THIS TIME. I would also bet however they are sampling vials and storing them "just in case" they eventually develop a way to source that urine by DNA.

Farfetched? Maybe.

Would Jefferson have thought it farfetched if I told him how intrusive government would be today, in his time? Absolutely.
