His criminal enterprise of cooking the books at Worldcom cost me thousands of hard earned dollars. I was a Worldcom shareholder. I bought the stock on the advice of a broker, and it wasn't a crapshoot. I was buying America's second largest long distance phone carrier.

Ebbers and his fellow crooks stole my money just like a stickup man walking into a place of business. Should investors be protected from all risks in the stock market? No, I'm not saying that. But to run a double set of books in order to defraud by pumping and dumping? Bernie, don't expect any sympathy from me for your long prison term. Buy your own vaseline...

This would be great if it sticks, but I have no faith that our legal system has anything to do with a justice system. I expect that Bernie will do a little time, then get a new trial and be out while the never-ending appeals process is run through. No doubt Bernie has a ton of cash squirreled away, more than enough to buy the traditional rich man's justice that we practice here in the states. No way will this crook ever do hard time.
