But seriously, do you think we could be in trouble in the short term? Long Term? I thought I noticed a hint of incredulity in the way Putin looked at bush. That look spoke volumes. | |

| Molten Ash Posts: 56 | China and Russia telling America not to get too serious about exporting that democracy stuff, they have internet cafe's to shut down, oil business men to railroad to prison and elections to rig, they dont want to deal with ANY country stopping them from takin care of business. And in China's case REALLY wanting to run the world. 'What can the worlds most proseprous country do for the worlds most populated country"? Chou En-Lai asked of Richard Nixon in 1972. China intends to be the most prosperous country- one way or another (Capturing Tiawan is for sure on the agenda) and then they won't have to ask such demeaning questions and bother with silly concepts like America and Democracy. If America got in on this allience, the three countries would be unstopably destructive in their domination of the planet. "It is not power that corrupts but fear. Anyway, the Russians aren't up to dominating anyone at the moment but nearby and weak entities. As for the Chinese, if they want to hobble the US all they have to do is pull the plug on the dollar. They could do that tomorrow. So this is so much hot air, much though I agree with them that the US could use a strong dose of humility. | BANNED Posts: 5,021 | The olympics are way overblown. They used to be only for sports that didn't already have a major professional league (track, swimming, wrestling, etc.). Now baseball, basketball, soccer, etc. are all part of it when they have no business being a part of it. |

Putin knows a back stabbing, lying, criminal when he sees one. I see this declaration to be yet more evidence that the conspiracy theorists are right. By them saying that the U.S. denies sovereign nations to "develop without outside interference", and "the aspiration for monopoly and domination in international affairs" and called for an end to "attempts to divide nations into leaders and those being led", they say the same thing that the "Conspiracy Theorists" are always trying to inform people about. There is no more free market, there is no more playing by ones own rules. You will follow the bully, or you will be destroyed. | Citizen #21521 Posts: 2,599 | Oddly enough, China is the single country in the threesome who has done the least interfering with other countries. How many countries has the US/Russia destroyed, maimed, crippled, and blown up in their petty little cold war? How many has China? The numbers speak for themselves. Russia's right to criticise might be a bit sketchy, but China has every right to demand for an end to interfering with other countries' affairs.
