This has been bugging me for a while now. The fact that our government is trying to tell us how to live our lives, yet again, it sickening to me. Here's one word for Illinois and the rest of the country: prohibition. You morons. These games are not being created because satan has posessed the programmers and turned them into anti christian doom spewing demons. They're being made because they're in demand! People want to play these games!!! And no little law is going to stop people from doing so. Damn to hell the entire argument about whether these games should be made or not! People want them. The end. So give them to them before the next Al Capone opens the new speakeasy's chock full of the latest sadistic, violent games.

Well, people still brought them, just through less legal means. Ideological loyalty is the act of giving your soul to a vague concept, to be manipulated by people smarter than you. |

People are going to do what they want anyway, legal or illegal. Yeah, you might snag a few of them here or there, but you'll never be able to stop a majority.

Personally I use violent video games as stress relief. Stress is the main reason people go crazy kill other students at school or co-workers at work. I agree that children who are like 8 years old or under might be infulenced by violence in games. Older people though are not at all. "It is not power that corrupts but fear.
