Anyway, back on topic--- I might support a trial program of a unit of bull dykes in the infantry---they might be tough enough.

I did my basic training in 1980. ( I later went to OCS ) I was in the last training company on the base that was not yet integrated with a platoon of females. Training companies at that time typically consisted of 4-5 platoons of 60-100 men each. Those that were integrated had a small female platoon. Training companies operate as a unit, doing daily physical exercise together at dawn on the PT field and running several miles before breakfast each day---going through their various trng stations, marching to the range, obstacle course, bivouac, etc.

We would occasionally get to a range or trng site just overlapping one of the integrated units leaving, we'd have marched there in time to break for lunch (back then it was canned C-rats we toted, not MRE's) as the previous (integrated) unit finished shooting and also eating lunch, so we mixed a bit and talked.

All the males complained of a scene not unlike gym class in high school, where half the girls had "their monthly visit" or had a doctor's note to be excused, or were whining and crying and needed special attention along the sidelines.
The men criticized their own standards having been lowerd in order to enable the girls tagging along behind, and more guys than normal wussed-out and claimed injuries so they could sit with the girls on the sidelines during the particularly challenging trng.
There were constant "hook-ups" that led to squabbles and jealousy among the competetive men, followed by break-ups and bickering and lowered morale because of rumor-mongering. Some of the less adept guys would resort to peeping-tom'ing the females, and some of the characters would pull pranks on them like taking away all the toilet paper etc.
Females always got preferential quarters(men had to mix it up in ancient quonset-hut bunkhouses built during WWII with peeling shower rooms and no ventilation--let alone AC like the females got) and the girls were excused from the full two-weeks in the field combat trng the men had to do under strict light and sound tactical discipline, covered in camouflage paint the whole time, living in dug-in positions, while females only "played war" for sessions at a time and were trucked all the way back to base from remote wilderness locations for nightly showers.
Many male sergeants fell prey to seduction and gave preferential treatment and if they ever scaled-back on it, were extorted or officially accused of sexual harassment or worse...and productivity suffered at the very least by their wasting time, leaving trng the men in order to answer for it, and morale suffered.

That was 30yrs ago, so I guess all the above is just par for the course and wouldnt even be recognized today because no one remembers the old standards anymore.

The army probably resembles an episode of "Jersey Shore " or "real life" on MTV nowadays ! LOL

Men of different races are not biologically different as are males and females, despite the musings of certain feminists, the differences are profound and immutable.

Men of different races have learned to function well together, but the case has been made that effectiveness might be maximized if like men were grouped together, and those cultural/attitudinal criteria would transcend race.

Morale has suffered greatly in the military as a result of all kinds of politically-motivated decisions, not the least of which has been the integration of males and females.

"Morale" in the military is a crucial element in the effectiveness and survivability of combat units.
Don't confuse the consequences of lowered morale in the military with the moaning that swept over the room when nobody liked the clown and the ice-cream cake melted at birthday party you attended last week.

No, not nearly as "tight" as it was only a short couple decades ago, and politics is why.

Politics has been ruling our military for along time, not effectiveness, and it jeopardizes mission and costs innocent lives.
