British fear US commander is beating the drum for Iran strikes - Telegraph British officials gave warning yesterday that America's commander in Iraq will declare that Iran is waging war against the US-backed Baghdad government. A strong statement from General David Petraeus about Iran's intervention in Iraq could set the stage for a US attack on Iranian military facilities, according to a Whitehall assessment.

My assessment is that the Brits should finally find the balls to tell the Americans to stick it. Let them beat their wee drum all by their wee selves.
However, the UK has basically the same crew in government as it had in 2001.

I think that the US needs to simply move from invading and securing iraq to invading and securing iran ,but If were the president i would wait for iran to build more "Nuclear Power Plants "(i.e nukes) so then the US and its allies would have a really good excuse for attacking.

That would be the case if America attacks Iran. With Iraq, it was like Americans were on their own mental private island. With Iran it will still be similar. Either way, we're supposed to forget who is attacking who.

Inevitable, I believe the whole purpose of the US invading Iraq was to set up a base to Invade Iran from.
Its possible the 1991 gulf war was a dress rehearsal for the real thing ten years later, bugs ironed out etc, leave nothing to chance.
The US is going to take all the middle eastern oilfields for itself, and become the owner seller.

When it came to Saddam's Iraq, warhawks said opponents were playing into Saddam's hands. This time, they'll claim anti-warriors are playing into the hands of Iran's leadership. It's not a mature comeback, but it works.

Thats not why I said Britain will back the US, the US. Britain and all western nations are ruled by the Illuminati, our governments by shadow governments within.
They ultimately decide where we go to war, and how long for, and who to support and who not to, and it will be in their interests of world domination, their NWO, that the middle east is bought to heel by the west, and its oil fields taken over.

?? So wait until iran is capable of launching some (or more if it can already) nuclear weapons in retaliation? I dont doubt that Iran would be capable of doing such a thing.

It seems a pity that America gets a bad name for doing the dirty work that the UN is too impotent to do.

Its easy to see America will sooner or later bring to our attention, a reason fabricated good enough to justify invading Iran. They put decades of planning into 9/11, and its possible the the world trade centre was built and designed precisely for that purpose. I would say the invasion of Iran has also had the same deep treatment.

I agree the government is run primarily by evil men, though I don't really care about the name. I just want them out, preferably to be replaced by no one.
