Paul's one-day haul a record

Paul's one-day haul a record - - The Washington Times, America's Newspaper
Quote:
Rep. Ron Paul of Texas yesterday broke the single-day Republican presidential-campaign fundraising record he set last month, raising about $6 million and giving him almost $18 million for the fourth quarter.
This is an ALL TIME one-day fundraising record, for any candidate ever. AND this makes Rpn Paul the top Republican fundraiser for the fourth quarter of 2007. Pwn.

As they say, "it's hard to keep a good man down".

Many people, myself included, see Ron as the only good man in the race for President.

I want to thank all the Ron Paul supporters for making this happen, and showing that the idea of liberty, individual responsibility, and non-interventionist policy still live strong in the United States.

Great news.

Lets hope many of these supporters are people who don't usually involve themselves in politics, and this can be a genuine revolution.

Then they can just fly under the radar until voting day, and boom, it'll be a whole new world.

Given that Paul can't seem to break 5%, it seems they are indeed well under the radar.

Still, I don't see anybody else coming up with a better answer for this groundswell of support, or where it's coming from.

I think somebody may just have figured out how to tap into the great unwashed hoards.

And to think, all along, it was as simple as telling them the truth.

LOL!

Anywho, I just thought I'd chime in on those whole deal. This is the first presidential candidate I've actually been excited about.

Maybe he lacks in polls, but straw polls he's winning at least 75% of, and hopefully he can turn this newfound cash into votes at primarys.

I urge everyone to vote for Ron Paul, please don't feel like you are wasting a vote, as you would be wasting a vote for NOT voting for Ron Paul.

I'm going to be betting that he gets double digits in Iowa and NH, if not placing 1st or second. NH, he has a much greater chance, however, I'm going to be optimistic and say he could seriously win Iowa.

The associated press put him at 6%. Huck at 23%.

I guess RP should do something with that money? I see plenty of adds for other candidates, I wonder what RP is doing with it....

Odd so many people I talk to seem to like Huckadick. I guess he just comes off as an honest and humble guy. I think we can all safely agree here that voting off the public display of personality is just plain stupid.

As much as I won't vote for RP I'd rather vote libertarian that see that fool in the white house. Sadly at this point I kind if think the race is going to be Hillary vs Huck.

He has hit 11% in SC, 7% in NH.

Paul 'pleasantly surprised' at $6 million fundraising haul - CNN.com

Quote:
a CNN/WMUR poll in New Hampshire, released last week, found Paul drawing 7 percent support among Republicans in that first primary state -- and he broke double digits with 11 percent in a CNN/Opinion Research Corp. poll in South Carolina, home of another early contest.
And CNN has him at 6% Nationally:
Election Center 2008: Candidates - Election & Politics News from CNN.com

A National BlindBio Poll from Zogby has him at 32.8 percent
Ron Paul Wins Nationwide Zogby Blind Poll

And this one, from politicalpolls.com:
Quote:
Cook Political Report/RT Strategies Poll. Nov. 8-11, 2007. N=308 Republican primary voters nationwide. MoE ± 5.6.

.

"I am going to read a list of people who might seek the Republican nomination for president in 2008, and I will read the list twice. I would like you to tell me who would be your FIRST CHOICE for the nomination. . . ." Names rotated

11/8-11/07 9/13-16/07
Ron Paul 6 3
So, it seems that he's breaking 5% just fine...

Ron Paul was on Glenn Beck tonight for a full hour.

I was impressed that Glenn gave him the podium to gt his message out, and clear the air about all the accusations.

The transcript, or the video link ought to be available tomorrow.

Te show may repeat tonight in you area, I'm not sure.

It's supposed to be on again at 3:00am, MST, on dish network (HNN, channel 202) at least. Get your DVRs or VCRs ready if you don't like internet video!

That was one of the best interviews I've seen so far, at least Beck lets him actually answer the questions, unlike SOME
