But, their good be a reason for that. Dieval is making a great point, France is really nice to its citizens. It isn't the United States, where cops would just shoot us in the face, and a few by standards, if we tried anything half as crazy.
I mean, I don't know where you're from Praxius, but I could tell you some stories of police abuse that I've witnessed myself... and I'm a nice guy.

Also, things in the states are more polarized. In France their is this sense of the great march... they really value protest and all that. In America, everyone is protesting against each other. If one group revolted the other group wouldn't support them. No solidarity in America!
But trust me, people still protest and riot here, way more intensely I might add. I was young, but still remember a LOT of the Rodney King riots in my backyard.
