| Liberated thinker Location: New Mexican Alps Posts: 1,977 | What I really think is important in this incident is the power of the press and the so called aggreived racial demagogues, to re invent facts and truth and inflame people with racial rubbish! This and the "Duke" case illustrate that terrifying fact! The various press reports have largely proved to be false amd misleading? Our 24/7 e;ectronic press is becoming a danger to our freedoms and adherence to a rule of law? As the Jena case has been investigated most of the scurrilous allegations by Sharpton/Jackson and the 'race baiting demagogues, have been overcome by facts? This amazing attack on the rule of law is ominous? Too many of us believe (and make judgements on) the opinionated subjective often invented press reports we are exposed to? What started as an unrelated incident was soon embellished with racially directed criticism of the victims a town, school and court for imagined wrong doing? When any group attacks and brutalizes an innocent there should be an fair and complete investigation into the facts?...certainly not a trial by press and opportunistic demagogues? Thus we play the fools with the time, and the spirits of the wise sit in the clouds and mock us. |

A trick that didn't pan out on appeal. The appellate court bounced the case to juvie, where it belongs, on lesser charges. "...with like-minded people one cannot discuss.
