Iran: Plans Ready To Bomb Israel - TIME The deputy commander of Iran's air force said Wednesday that it has plans drawn up to bomb Israel if the state of Israel attacks them. "if they make one silly misstake" the war will start, Iran warns. The warning came as Israel gets more agressive with they fly overs in neighboring countries. Quote:

Most nations including the U.S. keep plans archived for absolutely every possible situation. Raiding the Icebox There's also a huge difference between saying "we have plans to attack Israel" and "we have plans to attack Israel if they attack us first". Destroying America one Volconvo post at a time. Religious controversies are always productive of more acrimony and irreconcilable hatreds than those which spring from any other cause. |

It seemed more of a warning from Iran then anything else. Close to being a "I dare you". Can we expect a showdown in the future between Israel and Iran, will they end up with a war and would other countries get involved? Note: I am not allowed to change the title for posting in the Breaking News forum. I might have posted " Iran has plans to counter-attack Israel"... but that does not even sound newsworthy. To "sell" the story I might have used a bolder title. Such as "Iran dares Israel to make one silly misstake". The title used by TIME made it sound like Iran was in fact getting ready to attack Israel (as the bad guy on a real estate grab). But Hey, TIME is in the business of selling news and should know how best to title their stories. They got experience. | |

Why respect their views at all? CNN.com - U.S. rejects Iran inspection offer - Apr 30, 2006 May I ask what the heck is going on in the world today? Its like Bush has some sort of elaborate plan to screw things up irrevocably in the Middle East. Destroying America one Volconvo post at a time.
