Maybe your copy of the Constitution outlaws taxation, but this is what mine says: First sentence of Article I, Section 8: "The Congress shall have Power To lay and collect Taxes, Duties, Imposts and Excises" I mean it seems to me that gives Congress the power to lay and collect taxes - I could be wrong though, you know how vague that wording can be... ![]() Don't forget... ![]() Juris Doctor Location: Brockport, NY Posts: 2,040 | Just a quick update, I am about 75% of the way through reading all of WTP's legal documents in their latest (rejected) appeal. The government's brief is great because it contains, as appendices, all of the crap that WTP was putting out. They were off the charts of nuttery. When I have completed review, I'll give a comprehensive update. Right now it looks like WTP is still on some kind of mission, never mind that their reason for existence was proven to be a fraud. Don't forget... Lawyers were writing the Constitution while doctors were still bleeding people with leeches... |
