The issue here ought to be these doctors in Britain, Al Qaeda, Islamic fundamentalist-inspired international terrorism, but someone mentioned Iraq. You proudly noted your early opposition to Afghanistan before that and I speculated you'd likely have opposed those other interventions too.
Speculate all you want. I was responding to someone else about one single point.

If you don't want to go down the sequence of good arguments against united statian interventionism, why bring up your past record of opposititon thereto?
Again, it was a response to another poster about his post. It wasn't a "sequence" of anything and I'm not obliged to debate you about it.

I will raise the litany to signal your arguments are trite and have been thrashed before.
Then I apologize for boring you. The simple solution is to stop reading/responding to my posts. If you cannot exercise that small amount of self control I don't know what to tell you.
It's a big forum. Plenty of other people here to badger.

If the only relevant interventions are Afghanistan and Iraq, are you saying its some anti-Muslim thing?
I stopped debating you on most everything a long time ago. Let's keep it that way, shall we?

Bear in mind, a LOT of Democrats voted to GO to Iraq.
Scribbler - Here is one of your lies. Nobody, I repeat nobody, Republican or Democrat voted to invade Iraq. You just use the very typical Fascist Republican Spin.

This is the second time you have responded to the exact same post. Is calling me a liar that important to you, or do you just have a problem counting to TWO?

You asked me to show you when you lied. I have done so repeatedly. It seems you are very afraid that you got cought lying. Why can you not just admit that you lied?

Because I didn't lie. That, and it's fun to watch you foam at the mouth because you don't get your way.

Arawn..
If this is the mindset of the Islamic world, there can never be complete peace with any who don't believe in the words in the Kuran? Or even those who do believe but are from a different sect? Or those whose idea of perfection is to have everyone else believe and live in the same pattern? We are human beings with different experiences, beliefs and desires. We live in different environments and under different conditions. To postulate that harmony will only come if everybody believes in the same dogma is madness..unrealistic in the extreme! It forecasts doom and death.
xyzer true words, the fanatic has a different reality and once the button is pushed to far then you correctly state the outcome.

Yet we must hope for growth, education and moderation.

Yes - Congress abdicated their authorty to invade Iraq to George Bush. This was a very stupid and cowardly thing to do. But the decision to invade Iraq was George Bush's alone.

I'd have expected louder and more concerted efforts to prevent intervention much sooner from the Democrats. Some may have been 'carried away' with the relative success in Afghanistan, duped by the intelligence or in confused fear of terrorism -but its shameless how Democrats who voted to authorize both Afghanistan and then Iraq, rise up on their hindquarters to denounce Bushian duplicity.

I went to a dentist yesterday. He was not a Muslim. We have a right to know religious affiliation of the doctor. I prefer atheists. Pakistani and Arab Muslims doctors should be watched closely.

Should doctors have the right to know their patient's religious affliliation before agreeing to treatment? At present, they don't--thank God.

You don't have the right to know, but as long as you are the customer you have the right to ASK. After that, act according to your wishes.

If a doctor is an Alquaeda agent, he would not tell you. Everyone have to think for himself before using services. Do it yourself profiling may help. Stay away from Muslim doctors.
