Iran fuel rations spark violence

Quote:
At least 12 petrol stations have been torched in the Iranian capital, Tehran, after the government announced fuel rationing for private vehicles.
Windows were smashed and stones thrown at the stations, and there was traffic chaos as motorists queued to buy fuel.

Iranians were given only two hours' notice of the move that limits private drivers to 100 litres of fuel a month.
....
Beautiful, perhaps the outward focus of the Iranian president is to try to keep the populations attention away from the internal problems.

I can only hope the people reach a point o total disenchantment with the restrictive regime.

Yes, a Revolution in Iran would certantly be possible, and without question what Iran needs. However, we need to ensure it's the RIGHT revolution.

I don't think we can ensure anything from any perspective.

This was a rare glimpse into the life of everyday Iranians. Although these type of riots are probably rare, it was interesting to see not only the everyday Iranian people, but also their reaction to the frustrations in their everyday lives. I wonder if they would gladly pay $3.00 per gallon of gas if they could get it?

I spent a lot of money on booze, birds and fast cars. The rest I just squandered.

We can try, by building a popular support around an organization as say, the GRA.
