I think Iran is less scared, because of the Iraq War. It is going horribly, the American public justifiably do not have the stomach for it and there is no positive end in sight.

What if Iran gets another person who is more fanatic than the existing one? If the new incumbment is stubborn as Khomeni, then it would be for the worse, for west as well as for the country.

On one hand we are debating on the issue of Iran possession nuclear weapons, and on the other, some people have formed a Stop the War Coalition who have made a petition that will be presented to the Parliament should they ever declare war on Iran.

That is the liberal/hippie concept. I highly doubt that Iran is only trying to toy with Bush. I think they very much are trying to develop something.
