I guess this is just another thing to add to the list of "firsts" that have happened in this war And people are talking about going to Iran? it would be the last blunder the US military/this administration ever makes, the last because it would quite literally end the US military

It's become standard policy with this administration - control the release of news to lessen the impact on the public. Let them first get used to the idea that we lost five more of our soldiers, with just enough amplifying information, true or not, to put the issue in the best possible light for military. Later on, the truth will eventually come out, but the impact won't be nearly as great. What the powers that be don't seem to realize, or maybe they just don't care, is the effect such dishonesty has on the military's credibility. I don't take ANYTHING this administration, or the military says as truth any more until I see corroborating information from multiple sources. bush and his cronies have made official lying an Olympic event, and they are all gold medal winners in it. "The confirmation came after nearly a week of inquiries. The U.S. military in Baghdad initially did not respond to repeated requests for comment on reports that began emerging from Iraqi government and military officials on the abduction and a major breakdown in security at the Karbala site." i wonder if its an alien ware computer? the attack looks like it was carried out to make troops start looking at each other with a little more caution, mostly troops that have never seen each other anyway.

It was common practice in WWII with allied special ops going behind enemy lines for sabotage reasons and collecting information..... it was the grounds for the spy tactics during the Cold War. Man.... now I gotta figure out how to search for that..... just a second. enemies in our uniforms disguise - Google Book Search Here's some results ^ |

It required considerable planning, preparation and sophistication to pull off the raid. They used US vehicles, uniforms and weapons, spoke English and penetrated a secure compound, got in and out with prisoners. Scary. | libertarian neocon Location: north east Posts: 630 | and I am sure the battle of the bulge was not the first time, infiltrating an enemy camp by pretending to be one of them is an old trick. it is intereasting to note that they stole a computer. I wonder if that was planned. |
