1) fund fixing up the statue of liberty. change sign to "all full-come back later"

2) protect our borders

the statue of liberty is a nice poem, not a legal document. and we don't need to "accodmate" people who enter here illegelaly. I am all for legal, hard working immiragnts, but we owe them nothing and if they are here illegeally they shoudl be sent back asap.

on a side note I also think it should be easier to get in to the us.

Well, if we allow illegals to affect such changes in our culture, we deserve what we get. People that are for allowing uncontrolled entry to the U.S. to continue should ask a Native American what he thinks of unrestricted immigration.

It's a simple fact of human nature. If you can't (or won't) protect what you own, you aren't going to have it very long.

again, we arent talking about illegals, but legal immigrants, naturalized citizens and citizens that arent members of the majority ethnic group in a country, and that they can change the country however they want.

You shouldn't be talking about legal or illegal immigrants, this thread is about the new heat wave beaming weapon the air force just tested which some criticise for its crowd control applications and others for its vulnerability to slingshots.

It could be used against immigrants if they were in large crowds, against individuals dashing across the border you'd need dozens of these things. Maybe next time the hispanics start a series of large marches like they did when immigration reform was being debated, this weapon could be useful. I could see it being used to push back large crowds of globalophobes, 500 meters away.

Hey, I didn't insert that issue, this was done just to try and provoke. This was a discussion about a new weapon which has applications in crowd control. Someone other than me said it might work controlling the border. I dispute that because people don't cross the border in large crowds. Posters positing

distract from the subject -a heat ray beaming weapon that could be used to control crowds, but probably would be worthless in controlling borders unless big crowds of people sought to cross at a given point and time.

I think that many practical uses for a ray gun, such as this heat gun could be found/fun!

I would like to be able to go to my local PetMart, and buy a little gun like that that would disuade pets from scratching on furniture, trespassing in the wrong place. If it's "OK" to use on people - it should be "OK" for animals.
