The thing is..... who's to answer for this? Everybody who rented the locker has died. | |

| Molten Ash Posts: 68 | Is it documented that they all died? My mother gave birth in the 50's and she's still kickin'. (It wasn't her!) Judgement Day? Pshaw. Wishful thinking there - lots of evil gets done without ANY retribution, that's why folks wish for it to happen in the supernatural hereafter. |

| Volcanic Erupter Posts: 8,663 | A year or so ago I was in the swapmeet business and we would buy self storage units at auction when the owners stopped paying their rent. I never found any dead people but others have. One of the last units we got had a live snake in a cage, one of those expensive "collectable" ones. We feed it right away. We got all kinds of strange things in some of the units, one of the most often found would be pronographic photos or videos, you would be surprised how many "everyday people" keep nude photos of their self and family members. You end up finding drugs, weapons of all kinds, and one unit had a MG auto that had been covered over with boxes and bags of old clothing. And great care must be used when going through the stuff because no telling what is in those containers. We bid on one unit that had dead rats and old hamburger wrappers that were on top of some trash bags that were full of "something". No one else would bid on the unit because they feared it might have live rats. When we opened the bags they were full of vintage Native Ameircan art effects, pottery, baskets, wood carvings, and primtive art from other countries. As well as some antiques and original oil paintings. It was the best ten dollar investment we ever made bidding on those storage units. |
