    I agree with a lot of the things that Obama said in the 6/29/11 press conference. However, I'm confused as to how he can present ideas like this while receiving massive donations from bankers and the like.

    41 years ago today, the Ohio National Guard gunned down four Kent State University students and wounded nine others who were protesting the invasion of Cambodia.

    Let's use this as an example of why the right to organize and peacefully protest must not be abolished.

  3. Obama's Bad Timing

    Workers in Maine recently protested their asshole governor, Paul LePage for announcing that he would follow in the footsteps of his fellow asshole Scott Walker by cutting collective bargaining rights for public sector employees. He also ordered the removal of a mural constructed to honor Maine workers. Obviously there are still ongoing protests in Wisconsin, Michigan, and soon New Jersey.

    So you all remember Obama's campaign speech, right?

    So today marks the tenth year since King George II of America started the war in Afghanistan. What has been accomplished? It's very simple really:

    $352,779,360,146 - approximate total cost of the war (increasing every day)

    $1,000,000 per soldier


    8,587- total number of Afghan casualties

    8,813 Afghan civilians killed

    1,140 U.S. troops killed

    772 contractors killed (all that Halliburton & Bechtel care about) ...
