Canadian Charter of Rights 17

It seems there are Canadians in jails all over the globe,
They want out immediately and they want Ottawa to probe,
Canadians they say have Charter Rights and should not be in jail,
The Canadian Government should pay their fines and get them bail.
Then get them back to Canada on a government charted jet,
Paid for by overtaxed taxpayers who are in deep debt,
Our left wing soft on crime politicians have gone soft in the head,
Because this is where the Supreme Court appointees have led.
As they tell us that the sacred Charter of Rights is so great,
Written up by Pierre Trudeau with no national debate,
With no property rights or binding referendums ever allowed,
Extremely difficult to change their Charter under this cloud?
