What are some of your favorite obscure weird cult films?
I have recently come upon the following:
1. "THE PASSION OF DARKLY NOON" Philip Ridley. True
Gothic Strangeness.
2. "DARK ARC", directed by Dan Zukovic. A warped, opium dream
black comedy. Haunting images.
3. "FANDO Y LIS", directed by Jodoworsky. His first bizarre surrealist
masterpiece.
Not exactly cult but, I like Gummo, A Clockwork Orange, Pulp Fiction, Basketball Diaries, Natural Born Killers. I'm a sucker for Werner Herzog movies, though he's not all that obscure, either.Quote by: cinestrange

Interestingly, my cousins grew up with Mike Schank, from American Movie:
I barely know him myself, but I do love the movie (someday I'm going to use that scream in a song -- I even got permission from the man himself to use it).
