The Bechdel Test tests for a movie's "female as a real human being" quality. It's a pass/fail test. The test is credited to Alison Bechdel, creator of Dykes to Watch Out For. Bechdel says Liz Wallace inspired it.

The issue is why do so many movies fail the Bechdel Test? Why do so many movies have women only talking about men? Is that all women can talk about?
The last movie I posted about here, "Margin Call", passed the Bechdel Test.
