    Greatest animated tv show

I had this thread in my head but i forgot about it until this person made the "Family guy" something thread.

So the question is this: What animated tv show/serie; cartoon, anime, or puppet show, is the greatest that ever came on tv and why?

Anime: I would clearly say that world wide the best anime that has ever hit the tv would be Dragon Ball because it opened up the market like no other anime had before.

Cartoon: I would have to the mickey mouse. It was revolutionary at its time, and rather odd. A mouse with human characteristics???! WOW!

Puppets: Sesame street. no explanation here

second question: What's the best animated tv show/series that YOU have watched during your lifetime?

I gotta say it's becoming a very contested top three since i watch a lot of anime. But, i say the Tri dragon balls top the list, followed by code geass, and then yu yu hakusho. Although naruto will probably end up topping one of the top three off the list.

Never seen bleach, so i don't know how good that is, but i heard, it gets boring after episode 200. But idk if it's true.

I would have to spin the wheel...too many cool cartoons to choose from.

Death Note was definitely the best anime.

But my favorite would, at the moment, be Bob's Burgers.
The main character has the voice of H. Jon Benjamin, he actually writes the show.
But my point is, he is also the voice of Archer, and Coach McGirk from Home Movies.
I wish they still made Home Movies solely to keep McGirk!

Simpsons - The longest running prime-time sitcom in history

South Park - First network series spawned by an internet viral video and consistently the funniest series.

Sometimes, it even has a good point of the stoy as well. Funny and life enriching.

I am not a fan of the Simpsons, i see them every now and then, but you are right, they do have their place in history.

I wish i could watch South Park more often, but for some reason i always end up with crappy episodes, instead of the ones that have some what of a meaning behind it, like the Alien one.

I'll have to toss two others in the ring too.

Ren and Stimpy - for being unique, hilarious, and ushering in two decades of irreverent cartoons that are more fun for adults than kids

Spongebob Squarepants - for being the best example of the above. And because I have watched probably a couple thousand hours of it with my kids

Choices aren't limited to TV, are they? There are more over the Internet if someone wished.
