I love Lady Gaga and she is dead on about this in my opinion. And if the majority of the troops don't have an issue with homosexuals, then why does everyone else have to have issues?

Why does everyone else have to have issues? Because there are still a few folks left in America, even some in the military, who understand that sodomy is an abomination and those that are given up to sodomy have been given up to reprobate minds. A classic case of you feeling that laws should support your morality. If you feel sodomy is bad no one, including the military, is suggesting you take it up. In fact as far as I understand it sexual relations is pretty much out of bounds anyway homosexual or heterosexual.
Yes. Laws should be moral. Yes, it is immoral for people to have relations outside of the lawful bounds of marriage thus all sodomite relations are outside of those bounds and therefore not only immoral but are in opposition to the UCMJ (because this code was based on morals and now folks are trying to force their immorality on the military).
