My favorite is either Paint it Black by Rolling Stones or YYZ by RUSH. I can't get the videos right now, but I'll post them later.

Life get! +9001 XP!

One of my all-time favourite songs.Quote by: commonsense
I think this is a superior rendition by that great genius Chuck Berry: Promised Land
Fantastic versions of this songs have also been done by The Grateful Dead and The Band (another first-rate Canadian group LOL).

Someone posted video of Good News Week. Check this one out, the visuals I mean. Quite something.

I don’t believe anyone posted the great Canadian band Bachman Turner Overdrive. If so sorry but they had quite a number of hits.

Well weren't Randy Bachman and a couple of others members of Guess Who? (I mean just how many people are there in Winnipeg? LOL)

Don't know how "classic" this is but, remaining in Canada, Colin James, a Saskatchewan boy who plays lots of blues, bigband-type jazz as well as rock:
Let's shout
Voodoo thing
Somebody have mercy
Losing you

Anyone who loves the Grateful Dead and abhors the perverse lie of socialism must see this film.
its mind-blowing how a confused Canadian hippy mob tries to tell jerry that he must play for free because "music is ethereal" and no one can own it.
the dead are the only band I know of cool enough to allow taping of their shows by anyone who bought a ticket...yet the nonsensical, illogical spoiled child mentality of socialists can never be satisfied and nothing is ever good enough for them!
bobby weir has since perverted the band's apolitical stance increasingly since jerry was not himself to the confused, self-serving elitist "springsteen-like" rationality it has now.
if jerry werent so sufficiently doped up to last him an eternity, he's be rolling over in his grave

You're just beating a dead horse for your own sick pleasure. And I'm referring to the "music is ethereal" controversy. We already know that music cannot effectively be "owned" without legal threats, and so those who wish to "own" sounds are in fact undermining the artistic merit of their own craft. And I say this as a musician.
