Bob Dylan - All Along the Watchtower (electric)
The accustic origional is better though, and better than the Hendrix version. But this version sums up everything great about 60s rock.

Society may be formed so as to exist without crime, without poverty, […] no obstacle whatsoever intervenes at this moment except ignorance to prevent such a state of society.

Impressive choices and some great listening everyone!
I was wondering when Dylan would appear….
Here is Rick Wakeman and Yes. Saw them in Tampa stadium in 1974. Beautiful laser light show or that could’ve been the shrooms….

Matter of taste, of course. Personally I prefer the Hendrix version.Quote by: -Chees
In any case, your version is Dylan after he lost what little voice he ever had.
Here's Dylan's original recorded version:

Remember it well, as I do the Great CRTC Wars of those days.Quote by: Diogenes
I saw Blood, Sweat and Tears play at Gage Park in Hamilton a few years ago. All new except for DCT, who was hobbling a bit on a bad hip. In fact the saxophonist -- to my amazement -- was a guy I went to highschool with.
I attended the concert with a friend who spent years playing rockbands for a living. He knew a guy who had been in the Bossmen. DCT's approach was as follows: If any member of the band took a different view from him, he (DCT) would beat the crap out of him. That settled the matter. (rolls eyes)
