We have a $385 billion budget deficit this year and a $75 trillion dollar national debt. We are spending close to $2 billion a month killing folks in Iraq. And private credit card debt in the US totals around $60 billion. The US government has pledged $350 million in tsunami relief.
Yup, it is the tsunami aid that must have gotten us into all that debt all right. No doubt about it.
