Yes, I agree Christianity, like every other "movement" (for lack of a better term), got infiltrated by provocateurs and profiteers, and was/is being manipulated into a means of controlling people. Just like the environmental movement, the protestant reformation, you name it, "they" force it to serve them. But that doesn't completely discount the religious experience as a whole and does nothing to uproot the significance of
what Jesus was and what he represents. You don't have to get tangled in the mumbo jumbo to understand the true essence of the sacrifice certain individuals have made in the name of freedom and humanity.
